1) Technical Sales and Marketing Engineer

Our Sales team needs to fill an important position with great growth opportunities. There are two primary responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discussions and present technical features and benefits of our data center and colocation solution both to prospects and channel partners;
  • Collaboratively work with sales team members to develop and maximize opportunities, as well as proactively generating sales activities. We want you to hunt and bring in new customers.

If you are an experienced sales engineer or technical marketer and you have both experience and/ or a desire to do direct selling, this is the job for you!

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Required Attributes
  • 3-5 years experience working in a direct technical sales, technical account management, technical marketing, or sales engineering role
  • Must come from a Bay Area-located IT services, cloud infrastructure, high performance hardware or VAR/IT solutions provider
  • Must have experience and success selling and marketing to customers located in the Bay Area
  • Significant knowledge of IT infrastructure, data centers, and networking
  • Self-confident, highly motivated and results-oriented
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, and sales skills including prospecting
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and hunt for new business
Desired Attributes
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or other related disciplines
  • Successful experience in driving a technical sales agenda with key customer organizations such as Information Technology, Technical Operations, Network Engineering, Systems
  • Administration and Cloud/SAAS Operations
  • Experience working with Salesforce

2) Data Center Operations Engineer

The Position

Our closely-knit and highly-skilled Operations team needs to fill the role of Data Center Operations Engineer. This position offers great growth opportunities and increased responsibility over time. You will need strong people skills to go along with your technical expertise in order to manage the day to day operations of our high-density colocation data center. In this role you will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for the oversight of power infrastructure, cooling infrastructure and telecom infrastructure. Your day to day duties will include the management of build out and installation schedules, provisioning and maintenance practices, security practices, work flow processes and ensuring a great client experience.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Required Skills

5+ years experience working in a data center or mission-critical environment where 24/7 availability is required and in-depth knowledge of the following:

  • Data center power infrastructure such as switch gear, automatic transfer switches, generators, UPS systems, transformers, 3-phase distribution and rack level remote management.
  • Data center cooling infrastructure such as pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers and CRAC units.
  • Data center design and installation principals such as rack layout, bolt down processes, rack & stack, cable installation and management, labeling best practices, branch circuit power plug and receptacle types, IT equipment power plug and receptacle types, air dam and blanking panel strategies.
  • Data center building management systems, smoke detection and fire suppression systems, leak detection systems, security systems, CCTV systems and overall monitoring strategy.
  • Management of maintenance vendors for critical infrastructure.
  • Trouble ticketing and CRM systems, trouble resolution and escalation process and procedures.
  • Supervision of security personnel and management of security systems.
  • Identification of process-based improvements that generate operational and financial efficiencies
  • Maintain compliance with local health & safety (i.e. OSHA) standards and national electrical and building codes
Growth Opportunities
  • Learn to configure and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment (VLANs, access lists, connectivity).
  • Learn Linux and/or Widows systems administration and troubleshooting skills.


Either of the following:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related disciplines.
  • 5 years of on-the-job experience.
